Synopsis: Sen is in a prison (called "Under Grand Hotel" by its inmates) for murdering his female lover's husband. When he arrives at UGH, he immediately is introduced to Swordfish, a drug dealer and the king of the prison. Sword says he doesn't enjoy doing it with guys, but since there aren't any women around and these prisoners all have life sentences...

Synopsis: Two New York cops face all sorts of danger while solving mysteries that end up being quite personal, drawing them together in a volatile setting.

Bi no Isu - 31
Synopsis: Pretty predictable plot, but it's yakuza stuff so it's all right. People shooting people, who in turn shoot other people... you know, the usual. Rescue-by-uke is especially fun.


Kishidou Club - 30.5
Synopsis: Kishidou Club ("Jockey" Club) is a manga centered around a highly illegal club that bets on which "steed" - man - will win a pseudo boxing match. The one who loses ends up taking it up the - well, you get the idea - from the guy he lost to. Disgustingly rich men apparently own their own steeds and regularly bet in the matches.

Fake II - 30
Synopsis: Sequel to Fake, this story continues with more mysteries, action, and risks for the two New York cops. Will all the danger bring them closer, or break them apart?

Love Hustler - 29.5
Synopsis: Takanishi is a 'treasure hunter' who is trying to protect something called the Orichalcum. Kei is a traveling magician performing on a cruise ship. When Takanishi disguises himself as a dealer to get on the cruise ship, the two meet when they fight over the same room. Thus ensues a game of strip poker. Thankfully, an explosion rocks the boat and they escape with the knowledge that Shachi, a rival treasure hunter, has stolen the Orichalcum from under Takanishi's nose. For some reason, Kei decides to follow Takanishi because he apparently doesn't want to be a magician any longer.

1999 Shanghai - 29.5
Synopsis: Dawu is a low-ranking guy in one gang while Xiaoxue is a prized assassin in its rival gang. They meet without knowing each other's backgrounds, but they soon discover their inherent incompatibility during a gang fight. But despite that, they have steamy, forbidden sex anyway.

Trigger - 28.5
Synopsis: This manga has one-chapter storylines of alternate characters that are mostly about mafia dealings, professional thieves, and other notorious practices involving the aforementioned. There are a lot of guns and semi-rape scenes and tight-fitting secret-agent clothing.

Barbarian in Tokyo - 26
Synopsis: The 22-year-old idiot detective named Fubuki gets into all sorts of trouble and is rescued multiple times by the head of the nearby yakuza group.
